Shipping policy

LEAD TIMES

Unless items are showing stock on hand, lead times are generally anticipated to be 16 - 20 weeks from the date of payment.  Lead times that are, either noted in writing or are provided in any other way by Hub Furniture Living Lighting Pty Ltd will be subject to the lead time exceptions outlined below.

All lead times are as accurate as possible and whilst we endeavor to meet anticipated lead times, HUB will not be responsible for extensions to lead times which, for various reasons, may occur and are out of our control. We continue to work to the best of our ability in calculating the quickest routes for our goods being shipped from overseas.

There are and continue to be occasions where we receive advice that our bookings are offloaded due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to vessel instability issues, port omissions, container shortages and vessels being overbooked. Hub Furniture Living Lighting Pty Ltd is working proactively to find the best solutions with our freight forwarding agents to re-schedule our goods deliveries when these issues arise. We will contact you regarding any changes to your anticipated delivery should your goods fall into this category of delay. 

Where an order has more than one product and there are multiple lead times, items will be consolidated and delivered as per the product with the greatest lead time. If your order has multiple items with varying lead times and you would like items with the shorter lead time to be delivered sooner, please request for your order to be split, multiple orders will be created and charges for multiple deliveries will be applicable.

 

DELIVERY FEES & HANDLING.

Delivery is booked using third-party carriers that are engaged by Hub Furniture Living Lighting Pty Ltd. We ensure all carriers are liable for goods being delivered. Wherever possible, we will communicate with you to provide estimated delivery times for your order. Shipping fees calculated at checkout may be inaccurate based on the limitations of Shopify's software and the inability to set regional shipping rates. 

If you have selected delivery to a state outside of Victoria or New South Wales and you are not in a major metropolitan city area, you may be contacted by the team at Hub Furniture Living Lighting Pty Ltd and be required to pay an additional fee to cover regional costs. 

 

COLLECTION 

Collection can be selected from either our Sydney showroom, located at 118 Crown Street, Darlinghurst 2010 NSW or from our Melbourne Knoxfield Warehouse, located at 9 Gilbert Park Drive, Knoxfield 3181 VIC. All items booked for FREE collection from either Sydney or Melbourne locations will take 3-10 days for processing. You will be notified by phone or email when your items are ready for collection. 

If items are not collected within 7 days of being notified, your items may be forfeited and sold without further notice. You will need to then contact our our customer care team on +61 3 9652 1222 to arrange a refund which may take up to 30 days to process.

Should you not be able to collect your items within 7 days of being notified, you must contact Hub Furniture Living Lighting Pty Ltd to arrange storage. Storage fees are calculated at $200 a week. 

We will always do our best to ensure all orders are fulfilled and items are collected on time.
